Full fibre broadband

As part of the government’s Levelling Up plan, a target has been set for 85% of UK premises to have full fibre broadband by 2025 and 99% by 2030.

We help deliver full fibre broadband rollout for local authorities as part of a cost-neutral programme. We work on behalf of councils and housing associations with resources funded by the broadband providers.



From finding broadband providers to signing off on site, we programme manage every stage of your fibre broadband rollout.

Sourcing ISPs

Thanks to our network of local authorities and broadband providers we can support you to identify suitable ISPs. We take you through evaluation and negotiation phases then onboard your chosen provider/s.

Wayleave design and development

There’s a lot to consider when putting together a wayleave, including the social value commitments you want included. We create a fit-for-purpose wayleave package to bring maximum benefit to your stakeholders.

Project management

We set up a Telecoms project management programme framework for delivery and agree processes. We manage all stages of the installation work, co-ordinating with relevant teams, monitoring compliance, making regular site visits and providing weekly progress reports.

Stakeholder engagement

We create a stakeholder engagement plan and carry out stakeholder mapping to ensure consistent messaging and communication. This is regularly reviewed as the project progresses.

Digital strategy

A digital strategy is vital for deploying timely and successful digital connectivity. We develop Digital and Digital Infrastructure Strategies with deliverable action plans and key timelines.

Digital champions

We act as your Digital Champion to proactively engage with telecoms operators and communicate the benefits of digital connectivity to residents and businesses. We also develop toolkits for recruiting an in-house Digital Champion.

Asset management

We co-ordinate with local authorities and network operators to identify the best use of public sector assets (such as street lights and lamp posts) and reduce street clutter.

Access agreements and leases

We negotiate effective wayleaves and leases, and work with local authorities to create contracts, commercial agreements and tariffs for asset leasing.

Multi-team collaboration

We liaise with multiple internal and external teams, including planning departments, site installers, utilities companies and third-party subcontractors.

Planning

In partnership with planning departments of local authorities and operators, we develop local plans and infrastructure policies.
